Once considered among the crème de la crème of NBA players, Carmelo Anthony finds himself on the outside looking in, wondering if he will get another shot.
Following an ill-fated spell on the Houston Rockets, Carmelo Anthony is a free agent, as the new season edges ever closer he must be wondering if he can make an NBA roster in time for training camp.

A surefire Hall of Fame player who believes he can still contribute to a team somehow finds himself waiting for the phone to ring.
Anthony is a player who has averaged 24 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3 assists over a career spanning 1,064 games so far.
Deadly from all over the floor he shot 44.9 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from 3 and hit 81.1 percent of his free throws in his career.
Teams always need scorers on their roster, ones as talented as Anthony that will only command the vet minimum in salary don’t come around very often.
As recently as the 2017-18 season Anthony was able to contribute towards the larger goal while playing in for the Oklahoma City Thunder, his box score dropping across the board while playing similar minutes.
Should Anthony be willing to accept a role on a team instead of expecting to be a star, as he alluded to during his interview on ESPN’s First Take, then there should be multiple teams willing to take a closer look at him?
Acceptance is going to be the defining word for whatever remains of Anthony’s career, should he wish to be a starter with the ball in his hands most possessions he is as good as done.

Realize that glory can be obtained by sacrifice then there will be a role on most rosters in the league for him, having won multiple individual accolades it is believable when he says he is ready to sacrifice.
Leading to the question, what teams may be interested in Anthony and would it be a good fit?
